``Tony" M. Richards
Anthony M. Richards passed away on December 21, 2007. Tony was born in Akron, Ohio on March 8, 1920. He graduated from North High School and served in the United States Air Force during World War II. He retired from The B.F. Goodrich Co. with 42 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mary Richards, his beloved grandson, Anthony M. Shingleton and his sister, Winifred R Pettit. Tony is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary; daughters, Mary Alice (John) Cunningham, Cynthia Richards, Kathleen Richardson, Kimberly (Jess) Shingleton; grandchildren, Nicholas and Carly Richardson and Jess Shingleton; sisters, Marie Getz, Alice (Art) Moline of Wisconsin, Trudy (Jim) Kraft, Joanne Roetzel; and many nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved. Tony enjoyed sharing time with his family and was a fan of Notre Dame football, Boston Celtics basketball and going out for a good steak. He was a devoted husband, a great father and a proud and loving grandfather. Anthony passed away peacefully which was the way he led his life. We will miss him greatly.
