Dino J. Tambini Sr.

Dino J. Tambini Sr., 83, passed away July 24, 2006. Born Nov. 6, 1922, to the late Guido and Agnes (Jackman) Tambini , Dino was born in Kent but lived in the Akron area most of his life. He was a hardworking man, working for Falls Stamping and Welding for 33 years and then Hamlin Steel until his retirement at age 76. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II. He was a member of the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium, the Carovillise Club, and the Castel Desangro Club.

Along with his parents, Dino was preceded in death by his wife, Louella; dear friend, Dorothy Derita; and nephew, Joseph Dapice. He is survived by son, Dino J. Tambini Jr.; daughters, Sharon Forshaw and Linda (Charlie) Evans; grandchildren, Robert (Natalie), Christopher (Katy), Sherry (Jeff), Tonya, and Danielle; great-grandchildren, Zachary, DaeLee, Jeffrey, Tiffany, Olivia, and Cooper; sisters, Josephine Dapice and Lillian Davis; and many other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Friday at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON, with funeral services starting at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Metro Parks Foundation c/o Dino Tambino Sr. (HENNESSY-BAGNOLI, AKRON, 330-376-4251.)
