Mae Hartman (Marzano)
Dora Mae Hartman passed away February 24, 2008. Dora was born on April 24, 1925 in Akron, Ohio. She attended North High School. Dora married her High School Sweetheart, Cloyd (CJ) Hartman on August 29, 1946 at Immaculate Conception Church in Waukegan, Illinois, while Cloyd was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Training Center. The Hartman's lived in Illinois from 1946 until 2003, when they moved to Stow, Ohio to be near family. Dora worked for Abbott Laboratory in Illinois for 40 years until she retired. She enjoyed her position as Supervisor, made many friends, and enjoyed traveling and especially her gardening of many plants and flowers. Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Cloyd who passed away June 15, 2006; parents, Goldie and Gene Marzano; mother and father-in-law, Hilda and Joe Hartman; sisters and brothers-in-law, Anna and George Trbovich, Virginia and Stan Hubbard; and brothers-in-law, Edward Gill and Tom Paulus. Dora leaves to mourn her passing, brother and sister-in-law, John and Dorothy Marzano; sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Joe Patsy; sister, Gerry Gill; sister-in-law, Vi Paulus; and sister and brother-in-law, Fern and Ron Albright; and many nieces and nephews whom she enjoyed very much. Funeral Home (On the Historical Tallmadge Circle) on Thursday, February 28,
2008. Father John Hengle will celebrate Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady
of Victory Church on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 10 a.m. Please meet at the
Church. Burial will be at Northlawn Memorial Mausoleum. If desired,
contributions may be made to Our Lady of Victory New Development Fund or the
Charity of your Choice. |
