Marie Lutz
Edna Marie Lutz, 86 went home to be with her Lord and family on November 12, 2007.
She was born in Cuyahoga Falls and lived in the Akron area all her life. She graduated from North High School and worked at Goodyear Aircraft three years during World War II. She then worked at different odd jobs like Kippy's, Isaly's, Motor Inn and drug stores like Peoples, Standard and Bartram. She finally ended at Falls and Mains Pharmacy and worked there 23 years. She was a member of the Cathedral of Tomorrow over 30 years where she sang in the choir, played and sang on the gospel team over 10 years in different nursing homes, for shut-ins and prayer meetings, in hospitals and for Sunday School. She was a member of Haven of Rest Women's Auxiliary and Holiday Campland in Andover, Ohio
She left no family and was alone after the death of her parents, Edna and Marlin Lutz. She spent 20 years at different flea markets trying to sell accumulated items from past years, but she made more friends than she did money. She was a member of Kaiser Permanente.
There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park, 2613 Chestnut Blvd., Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Pastor Don Alexander officiating.
