Jane
L. Caldwell
Jane L. Caldwell passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2007.
She was a graduate of Akron North High School and a bookkeeper for many years. Jane was a member of the V.F.W. 1062 and belonged to Life After Stroke Group and Stepping Stones. She loved fishing, reading, needlepoint and all animals.
Preceded in death by her parents, Bess and Walter Caldwell; brothers, Jimmy and Tommy; in-laws, Bob and Kathryn Coon; she is survived by her sisters, June Chandler of Deland, Fla., Bess Collins of Polk City, Fla., and Joyce Rhines of Akron; ex-husband, Bob Coon of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and special friends, Bruce and Lori Black, Dave and Kathy Daywalt, Ted and Mary Pappas and Melissa Shive; also by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
Per her request, cremation has taken place. Memorial
services will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel
at First United Methodist Church, 245 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, Rev.
Susan Lausch will be assisting Dr. R. P. Chandler who will be officiating,
he is Jane's eldest nephew. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers, donations can be made to the Akron General Hospital Stroke Survival
Group or Summa Stroke Support Group.
