Joseph F. Patsy, 86, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 28, 2008. Joe was born on October 21, 1921 in Akron. He graduated from North High School, Class of '39. Joe married Gloria Marzano on Feb. 27, 1946. He entered the Air Force during World War II and served his country from 1942 until 1945. In 1989, he retired from Goodyear Aerospace (Loral) after 36 years of service. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Rosa and Mauro Pasquale; brother and sister-in-law, Tony Patsy and Rose Patsy Pircio; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Goldie and Gene Marzano; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Anna and George Trbovich, Virginia and Stanley Hubbard, Dora and Cloyd Hartman, Frank Bolognue, and Edward Gill. Joe leaves to mourn his passing his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Gloria; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael and Debbe of Houston, Texas, J. Brian of Springboro, Ohio; granddaughters and grandson, Ericka of Northampton, Mass., Allison of Houston, Texas, Shaun of Mason, Ohio, Meghan of Lexington, Ky.; brothers and sister-in-law, Bill and Joan Patsy, and Frank Pasquale; sisters, Josephine Bolognue, and Lolly Patsy; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Dorothy Marzano, and Gerry Gill; many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at
the Dunn-Quigley Stow Chapel (Kent Rd. at Rt. 91). Mass of Christian Burial
will be on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, entombment
at Northlawn Mausoleum. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made
