Juanita Hodoh-Simpson

Juanita Hodoh-Simpson, 77, passed away April 27, 2007.

She was born in Akron, Ohio on March 7, 1930, and later moved to Los Angeles, Calif. She graduated from North High School, and was Financial Manager for Ebony Enterprises. She helped her father in managing the family business, Janek's Grille on Howard Street. She was the top sales person at Charlotte's West. She loved to read and also write music. She was one of the early members of Institute of I.D.M.R.

Juanita was preceded in death by three sisters and seven brothers. She leaves to cherish her memory, brothers, Eugene R. (Emma) Hodoh and Roy (Bernice) Hodoh, Sr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4, 2007 at 12 p.m. at Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 W. Thornton St., Akron, OH 44307, Dr. Dominic Alati, I.D.M.R. officiating and Dr. Ed Milbry, I.D.M.R. eulogizing. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until time of service.
