Margaret Sharon (Miller) Barr

Margaret Sharon Barr, 92, died April 15, 2007.

Born in Gladstone, Mich., she was in the first Akron North High School graduating class. Mrs. Barr was an active supporter and member of St. Vincent's and St. Paul's churches. She loved to play Scrabble, work crossword puzzles and read. She was the beloved mother of 11 grateful children for her unselfish love and sacrifice.

Preceded in death by her husband, James R. Barr and son, Ralph E. Barr, she is survived by sons, Charles (Patty) of Crossville, Tenn., James (Peggy) of Troy, Ohio, Dennis and Thomas of Akron, Michael (Sherri) of Tallmadge, Vincent of Akron; daughters, Sharon Guevin (Jerry) of Scottsdale, Ariz., Katherine Miller (Chuck) of Noblesville, Ind., Geraldine Loog (Roland) of Gainesville, Fla., Mary Barr of Fairfax, Calif.; and daughter-in-law, Kristine Barr of Akron; along with 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service Saturday, 11 a.m. at the Dunn-Quigley, Ciriello & Carr Falls Chapel, 810 Portage Trail, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
