Mary Grubbs (Bednar)

Surrounded by family and friends, Mary went home to be with her Savior on Friday, April 18, 2008.

Preceded in death by her father, Frank Bednar; she is survived by her children, Julie Fife and Mark Grubbs; grand-children, Anthony and Katelyn; and mother, Nancy (Bill) Hornyak; sibling survivors include, David (Mary) Bednar, Michael (Sona) Bednar, Debbie Bednar, Terri (Chuck) Snyder, and Loretta (Brian) Koeth; along with many nieces and nephews. Mary is also survived by her best friend, Dale Starkey; and her two wonderful girlfriends, Jeanie and Chrissy.

Special thanks to nurse's Becky and Barb from Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service. Their commitment and care of Mary is to be admired and cherished forever.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial mass will be held at St. Hilary Church, 2750 W. Market Street., Fairlawn, Thursday, April 24 at 9:30 A.M. Family will receive friends at the church from 8:30 A.M. until time of services. Memorials may be made to Stewarts Caring Place (2955 W. Market St. Suite R Akron, Ohio 44333).
