Sarah Sweet

Sarah Sweet was born in Akron, Ohio and was a lifetime resident.

She attended North High School in the late 70's and then attended the Mansfield Business College for Nursing. In her free time she liked to do hair and sew. Throughout the years, Sarah was employed at Middlebury Manor, Burlington, and Sears.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samella Sweet and Henry Hennesse; sister, Mary Lyons Sweet; brother, Jimmie Sweet. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Henry Sweet, Lavell Sweet, and Brian Sweet, all of Akron, Ohio; brothers, Larry Williams (Darlene Atchison) of Akron, Ohio, Alonzo (Cleo) Sweet of Arizona; sister, Florine Sellars (Delmar) of Akron, Ohio; and a host of nieces, cousins, honorable mentions, good friends, Crystal Trimmer, Beverly, Loretta, Ernest, Vicky Gooden, and Charlotte Springfield.

Services will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 W. Thornton St., Akron, OH 44307. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until time of service. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 309 Upland St., Akron, OH 44301.
