Thomas D. Drosenos, Sr. (Papa)

Thomas D. Drosenos, 77, passed away April 23, 2007.

Born in Akron, Ohio, Thomas lived there all his life. He was a graduate of North High School and a member of Sons of Herman. He was an avid golf fan and loved his Bengals and Buckeyes.

Thomas was preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony, Mike, Harry and George and brothers-in-law, Tony and Frank. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 59 years, Lena; daughter, Carol (Michael) Horak; son, Thomas Jr. (Joyce) Drosenos; daughter, Christine (Jeffrey) Greene; grandchildren, Michael, Jason, Jana, Tammy, Brian, Marisa, Sara and Aaron; great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Tessa, Xander, Kaiya, Alex, Landon, Hailey, Max, Olivia, Ian and one great-grandson to be born soon. He is also survived by his sisters, Margaret, Penny and Zana; and brothers, Pete and Frank.

Funeral service will be Thursday, 11 a.m. at HENNESSY-BAGNOLI FUNERAL HOME, 936 N. MAIN ST., AKRON. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Thomas's final resting place will be Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
