Virginia M. Croft

Virginia M. Croft, age 78, of Hartville, passed away Monday June 25, 2007.

She was born in McKeesport, Pa., on May 26, 1929 to the late John and Margaret (Hospodar) Urban, attended St. Martha's Elementary School and graduated from Akron North High School. She was a professional secretary, active and a past president in PSI. She received the Secretary of The Year Award in 1990. She, with her husband Newt, owned and operated Hartville Mini Storage and enjoyed wintering in Florida. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by siblings, Bob Urban and Patty James, she is survived by her husband of 60 years, Newton; children, David and Chicky of Uniontown, John and Sandy of Strongsville, Tom and Kris of Hartville; grandchildren, David and Amanda, Christopher, John and Laurie, Matthew, and Caitlin Croft; great-granddaughters, Samantha and Abigail, and one on the way; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Ed Kane of Cuyahoga Falls; sister-in-law, Gwen Urban of Akron; in-laws, Mary and Jim Myers of Akron; and other relatives and friends.

Friends may call Wednesday (TODAY), 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Arnold Funeral Home, Hartville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, 10 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with Fr.
